Functional Testing
While I am able to prescribe almost any functional testing seen fit, these are my favourite for uncovering and treating chronic health issues.
DNA Testing
Unlock the secrets of your genetic blueprint with a DNA test and take control of your health. By understanding the 92 unique genes that make you who you are, you can tailor your lifestyle to optimise digestion, energy, hormone balance, and cognitive performance.
Discover personalised strategies for inflammation management, athletic performance, and longevity. Embrace the power of DNA protection and repair insights to prevent disease, improve recovery, and enhance detoxification processes. A DNA test isn't just about knowing yourself—it's about shaping your future with precision and care.
HTMA Testing
Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA) is a quantitative test that measures the mineral composition of hair, (precise to parts per million). It is a safe and non-invasive test that reflects the level of nutrients and toxic elements in body tissue.
HTMA Uncovers:
-
Mineral Deficiencies & Excess
-
Heavy Metal Toxicity
-
Metabolic Rate (fast or slow)
-
Immune/autoimmune
-
Mental Health Root Causes
-
Nervous System Imbalances
-
Liver & Kidney Stress
-
Diabetes & Insulin Resistance
-
Energy Levels & Fatigue
-
Cardiovascular Health
-
Adrenal & Thyroid Function
-
Sports Endurance & Recovery
-
Preconception
Functional Pathology
I utilise blood and urine samples in a way that uncovers root cause dysfunctions and deficiencies using world-class testing laboratories. Blood tests and urine samples can fail to show chronic health conditions, often leading to accidental medical gas lighting. I use different reference ranges and have been trained to utilise pathology in a way that shows system and organ functionality to identify and treat chronic disease.
Gut Microbiome Mapping
Gauge how your microbiome may be influencing various health systems by reviewing its potential to produce and break down key microbial substances, known as microbial metabolites. While some of these substances are associated with good health, others have associated with poor health.

The Insight™ report allows you to learn about your unique gut microbiome in high-resolution. You can use the report to:
-
Learn which microorganisms are in your gut and what they might be doing.
-
Learn which foods can be added to your diet to promote a healthy microbiome.
-
Monitor how your gut microbiome changes with lifestyle adjustments. For example, if you need to take antibiotics, you can monitor how quickly your microbiome recovers. Or, if you want to improve your gut microbiome by making changes to your diet and/or exercise habits, you can monitor your microbiome to see if the changes have worked.
-
Learn if the probiotics you are taking are present in your sample.
-
Identify overgrowths of a particular species within your microbiome. Please consult with a medical practitioner if you have any concerns.
